Our Products - Composite & uPVC

Composite and uPVC Windows & Doors

For those whose budgets preclude an investment in premium timber or aluminium, there are some great alternatives available these days.

For decades, uPVC has not had the best reputation for aesthetics or suitability for period homes. But now the best sliding sash and casement window ranges not only perform superbly, they look good too. They also offer good durability (25 years), security, a choice of colours (in and out), glazing options, and a range of furniture styles and finishes. Top of the range products also incorporate traditional style 'butt' joints which mimic timber, rendering them difficult to decipher from the real thing.

Composite entrance doors offer superb security and a great range of designs and finishes. Our solid timber core products come with the best locking systems and lock barrels available. But beware, there are cheaper foam-filled ranges that may look ok, and may even have a good security rating, but you can still cut through them with a knife or pad saw! Needless to say, we won't recommend these.

Whilst we believe aluminium bifolding and sliding patio doors offer the best durability over uPVC, there are some cheaper alternatives. They do not offer the same slim and elegant profiles as aluminium, but the better ranges are durable and will give good service.
